milenyo'd
at least 20 dead (unless news have come out that i haven't seen online yet, considering i don't have tv right now, or even an AM radio), trees/branches/leaves/various debris littering the road, power blackout (or, in local lingo, brownout) all over the metro (except in the building the hubby works at - there's a giant generator capable of juicing up not just the top 3 floors where his office is housed, but this computer shop i'm at as well, and luck's a double-edged sword, because though i'm happy to be typing away and linked to some aspects of the world through internet, 1) they don't have World of Warcraft [waaaaahhhh!!!], and 2) it costs a staggering P70 an hour, but i don't care, if i were to stay at home for the next 12 hours and endure the brownout/blackout, i'd go nuts).
but i'm alive, the hubby's well, i got my VeryVanilla GloriaJean's extra-large beside me, and i'm typing away at this keyboard, so i suppose all is well.
i still wish this overpriced i-net cafe had World of Warcraft.
