I have found all secrets wanting
For in finding I seek more
And in every ending there is
Still an unknown wind to soar.
When the time comes for all questions
To whose answers are then found,
Then ‘tis time to leave this world
And seek that which to Death is bound.
For tell me: who knows what or where
Do we go once we finally die?
Is it heaven or a void so dull;
Are what we’ve learned all lies?
I seek that one last answer,
But I patiently will wait,
And live my life the fuller still
Till Death knock’s ‘pon my gate.
