off keyed
~
When dreams die
The heavens weep with tears
Of crystal ice. The faint, nearly deafening
Silent sobbing pervades the vast emptiness
Of sky, and the clear solid stillness
is cracked by a child’s sigh.
When dreams die
The oceans in deep despondence surges
Green and blue and gray and black
As if in anger; a deep turmoil of conflicting passions.
And the land, clothed in tired silence,
is jolted into awakedness.
